Conference: 2023 Call for Workshop Proposals

We are excited to announce that the 2023 Call for Presentation Proposals is now open. This ACL Conference reflects the theme of service at the heart of our profession. As the ACL Home Office announced on November 1, the 2023 Conference will be held in-person and online at different times in the month of June. We are looking for presenters who want to share their knowledge in either of these conference settings.

Workshops should be well-researched and provide an engaging balance of theory and practice. As you are thinking about a workshop topic, please consider the following questions. Is your library doing something new and innovative? Have you developed new strategies for services? Do you have expertise that would benefit other librarians? For more information about topic ideas, presentation formats, and selection criteria, you’ll want to visit the Workshop Presentations page.

In addition, we ask that you attend the event you present at. Timelines for presenters, whether in-person or online, are also included on the Workshop Presentations webpage. By submitting a proposal, you are indicating your understanding of expectations and wanting to move forward.

We ask that you submit your presentation proposal by December 9th, 2022.

If you have any questions, please email Ruth McGuire, ACL Presentations Coordinator.
