2023 ACL Conference Host Librarian

We were happy to host the 2023 Annual Conference. It allowed us a chance to serve our colleagues in the organization and contribute the strong traditions that ACL has of collegiality, camaraderie, and professional growth. Our team enjoyed shaping our rough plans into a final form that introduced old friends and new ones to our campus and local community. Hosting an annual conference requires effort and commitment, but the ACL staff guided us through the entire process and helped us take advantage of past practices while incorporating our own distinctive elements into the conference.

Baru Hulela from Botswana International University of Science & Technology was awarded funds in 2021 from the Global Library Investment Grant to receive training for a Professional Digital Marketing Diploma program.

Collection Development

Almaty Bible Institute in Kazakhstan was a recipient of Global Library Investment funds in 2021 to increase their collection offerings to support their master's and doctoral level students.

Institutional Repository

In 2021, funds from the Global Library Investment Grant were awarded to the Theological College of Zimbabwe for the creation of an institutional repository for student research and faculty publications.
