Tax Exempt Statement
The Association of Christian Librarians is part of the Foundation for the Advancement of Christian Libraries. FACL/ACL is a tax exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The amount of your membership dues in excess of the value of any goods and services received is tax deductible to the full extent provided by law. The FACL/ACL home office will determine and receipt the amount based on member usage of benefits. More details. The tangible benefits of an ACL membership are the subscription to The Christian Librarian ($30 value)and the discounted rate for the annual conference ($75 value). Membership dues greater than the value of these benefits, if received, will be receipted by ACL according to IRS standards.
Membership Dues Membership dues, which are based on income and membership level, are calculated on the calendar year and include a subscription to The Christian Librarian. First time members may join at the introductory rate of $40.00.
