Access Services & Acquisitions Librarian - Concordia University - Irvine, CA

JOB SUMMARY

If you consider yourself to be resourceful, service-oriented, and highly organized, working as the Access Services and Acquisitions at Concordia University Irvine may be a good fit for you? In this role, you will oversee the operation of the library circulation desk and related functions including student employee supervision, overdue materials processing, stacks maintenance, and the management of the library’s printing services. As Access Services and Acquisitions Librarian, you will also be responsible for library back office processes including the acquisition of library materials and the management of financial transactions. This position offers a great opportunity to serve as a leader in the library. You will be able to play a large part in ensuring that the library is running smoothly and efficiently for the campus community!

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

To be qualified for this job, you need to have at least two years of work experience in a library setting. A master’s degree in library and information science is highly preferred. A detailed list of skills and requirements can be found on the job description.
