Legacy Endowment

Rooted in a legacy of faithfulness, the Association of Christian Librarians is now positioned to invest for a strong future. In honor of the Association's 60th anniversary, the ACL Board voted to designate $60,000 as the foundation for an endowment to benefit the Association and its members.  This board-designated endowment will aid ACL and its members by providing resources for professional development opportunities, scholarships, research and special projects. Our goal is to raise $40,000 by January 15, 2018, to fully fund the ACL Legacy Endowment with a $100,000 principal investment. To contribute to the Legacy Endowment, please select "Legacy Endowment" in the Donation Type dropdown on the Donations Form

Day of Giving

On Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at our annual conference we kicked off the endowment campaign with the goal of raising $10,000 in just one day! The goal was met and exceeded! By the end of conference, $10, 935 had been raised.

Would you join us in supporting the mission of FACL by giving a gift to the endowment?

While our initial goal is to fully fund the endowment with $100,000, we won’t stop there! Your ongoing contributions to the Legacy Endowment will expand our capacity for furthering the mission of ACL by supporting the growth and development of our members. We are excited to see how God will use these funds. With your support, ACL can help librarians make a difference in their own libraries and across the globe.

Planned Giving

Planned giving is simply a means to intentionally steward the material blessings God has given you. You can include ACL in your estate planning or will to make a lasting impact on the future of ACL as we invest in Christian libraries around the world.

Refer to our Gifts and Donations Policy to explore your options for making a planned gift. If you have any questions about the best way to include ACL in your giving plans, please contact the ACL Executive Director by email or by phone (937-766-2255).

General Donations

As always, general donations can still be made to FACL/ACL and will be used for conference scholarships and membership assistance. Choose "FACL" as the donation type on the Donations Form

Memorial Gifts, Honorary Gifts

Your tax-deductible gift may be made in honor of a fellow librarian's birthday or retirement or other special occasion. You may also give in memory of a special friend or family member as a tribute at a loved one's passing. A note to commemorate your gift will be sent to the address you indicate.
