Jaime Pitt

Technical Services Librarian
Indiana Wesleyan University

ACL has been a foundation in my professional library career. The organization has helped me to develop and grow as librarian and enabled me to serve my academic community more effectively. I have had the privilege of giving back to the organization by serving in various capacities over the past 15 years. I see ACL as a vibrant community filled with supportive and knowledgeable individuals. As a liaison to the membership, I would seek meaningful conversation that promotes and strengthens the goals and influence of the organization. My ultimate goal in serving as Director-at-large would be to foster support and communication among this network of professionals and to help them be more effective in the communities they serve.

Ruth McGuire

Director of Library Services/Associate Professor
University of Northwestern-St. Paul; Berntsen Library

I've been a member of ACL for a long time and have always appreciated its leadership and the benefits of being a part of this organization. Most recently, I’ve been grateful for the creative ways ACL has adjusted and used technology throughout the pandemic to continue to serve its constituents. As higher education and culture continue to change, it remains important to provide members with opportunities to connect as we seek a "place" for like-minded fellowship, professional development, and networking. Though the definition of “place” has expanded, ACL’s leadership has embraced it and moved forward in thoughtful, helpful ways. I would enjoy participating with them in using my experience to serve ACL and its membership. In the position of Director-at-Large, I'd help new and long-time members continue making connections in the various “places” we find ourselves serving and engaging.

Erinn Huebner

Student Services Librarian/Coordinator of Grace ACE Services
Grace Christian University

I envision the growth and thriving of the Association of Christian Librarians through the recruiting and mentoring of emerging professionals and the support and professional development of established professionals. I also have a vision to relentlessly pursue the cautious implementation of new ideas and that other than which has always been done. The Body of Christ has always been at its healthiest when each member of the body assists and supports the others to meet its goals. I will actively assist and support the board through enthusiastic participation in the development and achievement of the Association's goals. I believe I can provide a unique perspective and some engaging ideas to add to the board's extensive knowledge and experience.
