Foundation for the Advancement of Christian Libraries
The mission of the Foundation for the Advancement of Christian Libraries is to serve the Christian academic library community worldwide in collaboration with the Association of Christian Librarians.
The foundation will channel funding for projects in these four areas:
- research and publication of studies
- providing assistance for training of staff
- providing assistance with organizing and managing collections
- providing assistance for developing library infrastructure
Funding resources will include giving, fund-raising efforts, and grant writing.
Capital Campaign
FACL led a capital campaign to pay off the mortgage on the ACL/FACL Home Office in Cedarville, Ohio. In June of 2005, a campaign to raise $50,000 was launched.
As of November 2006, FACL's capital campaign has raised over $25,000! That is half-way to the goal! See the most up-to-date numbers from 10/24/2007 on the graph to the left.
Yankee Book Publishers has also contributed $250. Additional vendors have been invited to make a contribution to the campaign.
FACL still anticipates additional pledges and gifts to finish the campaign. Thank you for your continued generosity and wise stewardship!
