Residence Hall / Dorms
The regular Conference package will include housing in Evangel residence halls in suite-type accommodations. The residence halls scheduled to house ACL had major upgrades within the last
three years, including new furnishings, décor, and carpet. All the facilities on campus have air conditioning and wireless internet. All residence hall rooms are equipped with telephone jacks and cable TV outlets. Telephones and televisions are not provided in the rooms. There are TV lounges in the residence halls.
There is also an off-campus housing package available. The Ramada Oasis & Convention Center will serve as the official hotel for the conference. Details below:

The ACL Conference 2009 Hotel Option |

The ACL Conference 2009 Team is pleased to announce that the Ramada Oasis & Convention Center will serve as the official hotel for the
conference in Springfield, Missouri, this June. It is located at 2546 North Glenstone, Springfield, MO 65803. (Phone: 417-866-5253)
ACL, in connection with Evangel University, has negotiated a very nice rate of $67.00 per night for either a King or Double Double Room.
You may make room reservations by calling toll-free to the Ramada Oasis at 1-888-532-4338. Be sure you indicate that you are with
ACL to get the correct room rate. You should not use the website or travel agents for reservations for this ACL rate. This block of rooms
will be held for ACL participants until May 15, 2009. (However, the ACL rate will be honored later if rooms are available.)
We have reserved a total of 60 rooms for those who prefer to stay in a hotel rather than on campus. The rate includes the use of the indoor
pool and atrium area. It also includes a complimentary hot breakfast buffet. The hotel staff offers free airport shuttle service to and from
the hotel for the Springfield Airport. It will also provide once-a-day delivery and pick up at Evangel, if requested the night before. Please
allow at least 30 minutes wait on this service. Public bus service is available from the nearby Wal-Mart to Evangel. The ACL rate will also
be honored for early arrivals and late departures for those wishing to vacation in the area. It is about 45 minutes from the Branson area.
The Ramada Oasis was recently remodeled and has a fenced and gated facility, perfect for families. The hotel offers wireless internet service

It is located adjacent to I-44 and about five minutes by car from the Evangel campus. There are about a dozen nice restaurants and a Wal-Mart
Supercenter within a block of the hotel. It is about one-tenth of a mile from a public golf facility
that features both a regulation eighteen- hole and a lighted, par-three course.
There are other hotels near Evangel, but reservations should be made well in advance. Summer rates vary greatly, but usually run about
$79-$129 for quality hotels. Springfield normally sells out of hotel rooms several weeks in the summer for shows, conferences, and conventions.
