Kentucky Christian University solicits applications for the position of Assistant Librarian with an appointment effective June 1, 2008. This is a permanent full-time position with benefits. An MLS or MSIS degree from an ALA accredited program. Salary commensurate with experience.
The successful candidate shall have prior library experience with a strong emphasis on public service and must be prepared to contribute leadership in the development and assessment of a diverse program of services. Familiarity with Innovative Millennium is preferred.
Excellent communication, computer, and inter-personal skills are expected.
The Assistant Librarian is expected to be a role model for students and to enthusiastically embrace the mission of Kentucky Christian University.
