The Association of Christian Librarian’s 55th Annual Conference will be held June 13-16, 2011, at Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio, with the theme “Inspiring Greatness: The Library in the Academy!” Announcement cards are in the mail and should be arriving in your mailbox very soon! The Conference website gives all the details; go to the 2011 Conference Website. We are trying a new format this year in order to incorporate some member suggestions from past conferences. We have included an optional tour that will take place on Thursday, at the end of conference. Please note that official conference business will conclude with lunch on Thursday. If you are planning on taking the tour or leaving Cedarville on Friday, you will need to register for Thursday lodging in addition to the conference package.
Online Registration is now open! There is one main form for members and non-members. At the top of the main form, there is a link to switch to the Guest Registration form. Please use one form for each person registering. Did you know that if your institution is a member of the Christian Library Consortium (CLC), you can send one individual from your institution at the member rate, even if they are not a member of ACL? The Early Bird Registration Deadline (with a discount) is April 30, and the Final Registration Deadline is May 10. Go to the Online Registration Form to register now!
1. Complete the online registration form and choose “Pay by Check” or “Pay by Credit Card” at the end of the form. (If this does not work for you, you may request a .pdf version of the form via e-mail, confreg@acl.org.
3. If you chose “Pay by Check”, simply mail your check indicating which attendee’s registrations are included in the check. You do not need to send a printed copy of the registration form with your check if you have submitted the registration online.
